A Message From Our Founding Chairman

As a native South Carolinian, I proudly subscribe to our state motto: “While I breathe, I hope.” We are blessed to hail from a state where a solid majority of our citizens still believe in the opportunity of our country and its founding principles. The greatness of America has always been the courage and entrepreneurship of its people…and I’m convinced that this greatness and local leadership is alive and well in South Carolina.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet folks in every corner of our state who believe in our shared values of freedom, self-reliance and hard work. People who still understand America’s founding principles and believe our state is uniquely poised to be a beacon of freedom. Foremost among them are my friends at the Palmetto Promise Institute.

The hardworking folks at PPI are making an impact for freedom in our state, reaching out to friends, neighbors, and policymakers in Columbia to grow a collaborative, common sense network of support for conservative ideas. Ideas that we know can build and sustain a future of greater opportunity and prosperity for every South Carolinian, regardless of their birth or background.

PPI is our greatest hope for a bright, conservative future in our state. We need more courageous and patriotic citizens to stand up and support this growing network in South Carolina. For that reason, I hope you will take a moment to learn more and join me in supporting PPI’s work.
