Our 2025-26 Palmetto Freedom Agenda
The 126th session of the South Carolina General Assembly kicks off next week, on January 14. This two-year session, South Carolina has a chance like never before to expand freedom and opportunity in our state. I and the Palmetto Promise team are so proud of all the achievements of the last legislative session, and we have high hopes that this one can be even better.
That’s why we put together the 2025-26 edition of our Palmetto Freedom Agenda, our top priorities for state legislators this session. In it, you will find twenty thoroughly-researched policies that we believe will build a better South Carolina and secure freedom and opportunity for generations to come.
The Palmetto Freedom Agenda includes policies in four main categories:
Each policy topic in our agenda will soon have its own webpage, packed with resources for legislators and citizens to understand each policy and dig deeper for themselves. We look forward to sharing those with you in the coming weeks.
