Jennifer Buckley
Jennifer Buckley is a senior at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning her B.A. in Public Affairs with a minor in Geography. She is a Departmental Honors student in the Luskin School of Public Affairs and is currently writing her thesis on the 2024 presidential election.
While at UCLA, Jennifer has been a part of AmeriCorps’ JusticeCorps program, where she completed 300 hours of volunteer service at the Downtown Los Angeles Courthouse, aiding pro se litigants in family law cases. Following her interest in law, she traveled to Prague last summer, where she interned for Finreg Partners, a firm specializing in fintech and financial law. She is currently an undergraduate researcher for UCLA’s Center on Middle East Development, and her assignments involve cases before the International Court of Justice.
While she grew up in Washington State, Jennifer has caught her grandparents’ love of South Carolina, and she enjoyed spending summer 2024 in Columbia as a Summer Fellow. She is eager to contribute to PPI’s mission of education, healthcare, energy, and tax freedom. Now, her work continues remotely as a Research Fellow as she completes her senior year at UCLA.
