Joy Davis

Joy Davis is a rising senior at Wade Hampton High School in Greenville, SC. There, she is a member of Mock Trial, Youth in Government, Beta Club, Chamber Choir, and National Honors Society, as well as a Student Ambassador. She was a 2022 Palmetto Girls State Delegate and a published poet.

Joy is a member of the inaugural cohort of Palmetto Promise Junior Policy Scholars. Junior Policy Scholars are talented high school students who support the Palmetto Promise mission through guided independent research and policy advocacy. Each Scholar dives deep into policy topics fitting their interests to produce articles and policy briefings for publication on the Palmetto Promise website.
