Luanne D. Zurlo, MBA
Luanne D. Zurlo, MBA brings extensive experience in finance, education, and nonprofit leadership to the Board of Palmetto Promise Institute.
Luanne, a South Carolina native, retired from a distinguished career spanning Wall Street, higher education, and mission-driven nonprofits. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of Seton Education Partners, overseeing the Brilla Charter School network and El Camino, its after-school faith formation program in the South Bronx. Earlier, she taught finance and economic development at The Catholic University of America and founded the World Education & Development Fund (Educando), which operates in Brazil and Mexico to improve educational quality in public and Catholic schools. She also spent nearly a decade as an equity analyst with Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs.
Luanne holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University SAIS, and an MBA from Columbia Business School, and completed a sabbatical in theology at the Angelicum in Rome. She is also a published author and has taught graduate-level finance.
