Teshia McIver
Teshia McIver brings more than two decades of experience in education, workforce development, project management, and nonprofit leadership to her role at Palmetto Promise Institute. She began her career in bank management, spending 13 years leading high-performing teams and strengthening customer and community engagement before moving into the education and nonprofit sectors.
Throughout her career, Teshia has designed and led initiatives that promote economic mobility, build community partnerships, and create pathways for personal and professional growth. She has worked with K–12 schools (traditional public and charter), higher education institutions, government agencies, and community organizations, earning a reputation for her collaborative leadership and ability to bring diverse stakeholders together to achieve shared goals.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and calls the Aiken, SC, area home. As a parent, she has exercised school choice for her own son, who has attended public school and been homeschooled.
