David Sellers

David is a recent graduate of the Ashbrook program at Ashland University, where he earned his B.A. in Political Science with minors in religion and history. He has participated in many leadership programs including Patriot Academy, the COS Emerging Leaders Program, and the Forge Leadership Academy. Putting this learning into action, David has served on ten separate campaigns in eight different states, made dozens of visits to statehouses in the Midwest, and volunteered for many years in multiple local charity organizations and events. He served for two years as a Development Support Officer at Convention of States, and has served part-time in a similar role for Palmetto Promise Institute since February 2023.

The oldest of thirteen children, David is driven by a deep sense of responsibility to his country and community. He is working towards channeling his oldest-sibling love of rules into preparations for law school and a legal career in public interest litigation, particularly for freedom of speech and religion. David is a devout Catholic who strives to keep love of God and neighbor at the center of his love for studying theology, law, sociology, and political philosophy. In his free time he enjoys board games, hiking, old movies, and his very amateur harmonica skills.
