Dr. Kevin Boeh brings a unique blend of academic rigor and extensive real-world economic expertise, positioning him as an invaluable resource to Palmetto Promise for policy insights. Currently serving as Vice Chancellor of DoctorateHub and Affiliate Professor of Financial Economics at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, Dr. Boeh’s career spans significant roles in investment banking, management consulting, and academia. He was previously a Visiting Associate Professor at University of Florida and a tenured professor at Pacific Lutheran University.

His distinguished pre-academic career included positions at top-tier firms, Kearney and Accenture, followed by a successful tenure on Wall Street. As an investment banker, Dr. Boeh advised over 100 strategic, public, and private corporate finance, and M&A clients. This experience underscores his deep understanding of capital markets, corporate finance, and corporate strategy. Dr. Boeh returned to academia to pursue a Ph.D., enriching his practical knowledge with advanced research methods with the goals of having even greater impact on client success and preparing his students with industry-informed skills and knowledge.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Dr. Boeh actively contributes to the South Carolina financial and business community. He advises corporate clients, invests in growth companies, serves on the boards of directors for several private companies, leads a venture capital fund, and is on the investment advisory board of a large retirement fund.

The Boehs reside in the upstate of South Carolina after relocating to be closer to their two children attending Clemson University.
