Two Debates, a Broadcast and a Forum!

Over the next several weeks, Palmetto Promise Institute will have a part in four key public events all over the state of South Carolina.

On Tuesday night June 9, Senior Fellow Dr. Oran Smith will serve as political analyst for election night team coverage on WORD radio in the Upstate. You can stream the show online here.

On Wednesday Morning be sure to keep an eye on your email, as we will be posting a thorough breakdown of the election and the results.

On June 16, Palmetto Promise will co-host a forum on Energy policy in Columbia with The Vandenburg Coalition entitled “Threats to American Dominance.” PPI  President Wendy Damron will moderate. Also participating will be Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC 2CD) and Palmetto Industrial Energy Association Director Michael Wright. Please contact Spencer Boeh in the PPI office for more information.

Also on June 16, Senior Fellow Smith will serve on the panel for the Republican Governor’s Runoff debate to be held on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway sponsored by the SC Republican Party. More details on the debate can be found here.

President Wendy Damron will participate in the First Congressional District debate also to be held between the Republican Primary and the Primary Runoff on Wednesday, June 17. Here are the details for that debate.
